August 2006: - After being in the states all summer, we arrived back in Moscow only to discover that our current apartment owner refused to re-register us, a legal requirement of the Russian government needing to be done within 3 days after arriving in Moscow. Otherwise, you could face severe penalties and even deportation. Within 3 days, God miraculously provided a different apartment that is fully remodeled, less than a 10 minute walk from the school (whereas our previous one was over an hour commute one-way via metro), AND an owner who speaks English very well who was willing to register us! She also allowed us to pay less rent the first month to help with furnishing the apartment. God is awesome!

January 2007: - We had been praying for a grocery store to open up closer to where we live. We had been traveling to Ashan, a huge Walmart-like grocery store that usually ends up being an all-day affair and takes too much time out of our schedule. When we returned in January, we found that a brand-new grocery store was opening up right along the path that we take to walk to school. AND the prices are great! So now, it is not even out of our way, but on our way to/from school! Praise God.
