Regarding Russia today, we could talk about the politics, the economy, the social structure, the hope or lack thereof found in the people, the alcoholism, the drug addictions, the abortion rate, the street children and orphans, the separation between the rich and the poor, the question of whether or not Russia is a third world country . . . But we choose to talk about hope – the hope found only in Christ, of a new life in Him that affects our lives, hope that looks beyond the moment, hope that stirs our faith, hope that sees more churches planted, more Christian leaders raised up, the rejected and dejected loved and cared for, hope that stirs our hearts to love, our feet to go, and our hands to give.
We have been sent out by our church, Abundant Life Center, and are working with Armada, a missions networking ministry. Our role is to establish an office in Russia to serve as a communications center through which this network can effectively operate. As Armada’s Regional Director, Shane will focus his time on the expansion of Armada’s correspondence Bible course. He will also teach two English classes for the staff and leadership of Word of Life, a church of over 2,000 believers in Moscow. Katie will teach English and mathematics at Hinkson Christian Academy, a school for missionary children.
We have witnessed God moving in great and miraculous ways in establishing us here in Moscow. He continues to go before us preparing the way. Much work lies ahead of us. All God needs is a willing heart through which He can manifest His divine love to the world.
Every seed planted holds the potential to bring forth much
fruit. We are seeking to partner with those who share in the
vision of reaching the nations. We invite you to sow into this
