Pastor Oleg Bodnar and his church continue their humanitarian mission

The humanitarian center in Kyiv, led by Pastor Oleg Bondar, continues to help people near the frontline and various cities across the country focus on vulnerable groups of people, including internally displaced persons, elderly people, and women with children.

Recently, Oleg and his church distributed 200 food packages worth $2,000 and brought 1.5 tons of different kinds of aid totalling $7,000 from Poland.

Oleg's team continues with their bread-baking project, “Two Loaves,” where they bake the bread and distribute it along with a copy of the New Testament. This way, people receive both physical and spiritual nourishment. Recently, they baked and distributed over 10,000 loaves of bread to villages and towns in Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, and Kherson regions.

Additionally, the team conducts evacuations every week. Three evacuation vehicles operate in the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. 40 people were evacuated during the most recent trip. This granted them safe housing and a chance to rebuild their lives!

Oleg and his ministry also support other small churches by providing food and other humanitarian aid to assist with their evangelical efforts. Also, chaplaincy is an essential part of the church’s mission, as the team continues to serve in hospitals for the military personnel, distributing New Testaments weekly and holding services weekly.

Oleg plans to bring 15 tons of valuable aid from Switzerland and Poland to Ukraine this week, which will be quickly distributed among these churches and refugee centers. To accomplish this project, Oleg and his team need the funds to purchase 550 liters of diesel fuel. With your help we want to supply this for him!
