The Church Spring of Life is saving lives, meeting needs, and giving hope!
Pastor Vadim Gulenko and his church "Spring of Life" based in Cherkassy, central Ukraine, has been very active since Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The church cares for internally displaced people who are escaping from dangerous areas along the frontline where they are being constantly shelled by Russian forces. In Cherkassy, Pastor Vadim and his ministry provide the spiritual support and essentials like food, clothing, medicine, and hygiene products.

The constant flow of people who need help is steady and at times it seems to be endless. It's an incredible task to help find them new homes and resettle them in various parts of Ukraine, as far away from the war as possible. It's amazing, but some of the people decide to stay at the church and join the ministry! They want to give back to others what they freely received.
The overall ministry of the church covers the major areas in Northeastern Ukraine. Pastor Vadim networks with local churches there to deliver vital aid and perform life-saving evacuations. It has become a significant part of their ministry, time and effort.
Recently, they made a trip to the Kharkiv region which has suffered terribly from Russian missile strikes on their heating and power infrastructure. City-wide blackouts are common, and hundreds of thousands are without light or heat. The Church delivered warm clothing, blankets, wood stoves, and thermal underwear for children.

At the moment, Pastor Vadim is preparing for a trip across all of Ukraine to its westernmost point to pick up additional humanitarian aid provided by European partners which will help supply their mission in the East. Many people are waiting for their return and need help quickly. To make this trip, Vadim needs funds to purchase 230 liters of diesel fuel.
