Partners and Friends,

Not long ago, the Lord impressed on me to believe Him for 1,000 partners in the Armada Network. To be honest, I was surprised. Why would the Lord ask this of me, and how would I reach them? Then He said: “I want you to have 1,000 partners, because I want to heal them.”

Immediately, I knew what the Lord wanted me to do for you and a thousand more.

I had never seen this before so clearly – at least not in this light, or to this degree. I've been praying for the sick all my life. I've preached hundreds, perhaps thousands of sermons on divine healing. I've even written a book about faith and healing. But in that moment, I saw how many are not healed because their personal fellowship with the Lord is weak. They have not established the daily spiritual disciplines needed to build an intimate relationship with God. Yet, those who do tend to have a growing faith, a spirit of victory, and walk in divine health.

Every disciple should establish a daily time with the Father—feeding on His Word, worshiping in the Spirit, and praying. Those who do experience great things from God! For me, this became a reality when a man of God who greatly influenced my life, Gene Olon, gave me a copy of a little book he carried everywhere. The book, Daily Light on the Daily Path, is a collection of Scripture verses compiled for reading and meditation. Over the years, this book became a mainstay in my devotional life with the Lord. I've always been surprised to learn how many have never heard of it!

With this in mind, I’ve created a series of daily emails for you — 365 in total — designed to encourage you to spend time with the Lord. Each message includes encouraging insights from my book Jesus is Alive! as well as content from my sermons, notes and journals. The quotes I've chosen from the book appear in boldface for emphasis. You will also find the entry from Daily Light on the Daily Path, offering scripture for your meditation and prayer.

My prayer is that you will immerse yourself in God’s Word and experience His healing power every single day.
