Unwavering Humanitarian Work in Ukraine
In total, the aid delivered and distributed during this last outreach was valued over $33,000. Pastor Bodnar emphasizes that their success is the result of the efforts and heartfelt support from partners and donors like Armada.
I hope you remember Pastor Oleg Bodnar, a leader of humanitarian initiatives in Ukraine. He and his team demonstrate remarkable commitment amid the ongoing war. Recently, they successfully delivered 12 tons of aid brought all the way from Switzerland and 6 tons from Poland, providing essential items such as tents for warmth, food, thermoses, flashlights, and blankets. Working closely with front line rescuers, they distributed supplies to those most in need, fed people on the streets, and ensured bread and food reached the homes of people shut-in with disabilities. The team also continued their regular practice of baking and distributing fresh bread to support entire local communities.
In total, the aid delivered and distributed during this last outreach was valued over $33,000. Pastor Bodnar emphasizes that their success is the result of the efforts and heartfelt support from partners and donors like Armada. “Your help here is fundamentally important,” he said, “and thanks to you, we have accomplished so much. This is a team effort, and together we can do even more.”

Looking ahead, Pastor Bodnar shared the initiative’s most pressing needs: fuel shortages and trailer repairs. The trailer sustained damage during the last trip from Poland when the doors bent under pressure, and it now requires reinforcement. Also, the team is short of diesel fuel to continue distributing cargo across various regions, planning deliveries to Kharkiv (3 tons), distribution of another 9 tons to local centers, two more trips to Poland and the Lviv region, as well as ongoing bread aid and street meal distributions.
To meet part of future needs, they are asking for support with 450 liters of diesel fuel and $200 for trailer repairs.
