I thought you would enjoy one quick glimpse out of many and see how the Church in Ukraine is constantly working to save Ukraine.
Pastor Valentin Vasiliev, from Uzhnoukrainsk, Mykolayv oblast, and his church leaders, are focused on restoring many villages that suffered from the devastations of war in the Southern part of Ukraine. Many residents have returned and are struggling to rebuild their lives from scratch. Previously, Pastor Valentin and his church arranged numerous trips to the area to help people rebuild and repair their homes and improve their quality of life.
In May, Pastor Valentin and his leaders embarked on a mission trip to the liberated region of Kherson. This area had previously been under cruel Russian occupation for more than one month. Their goal was to restore subsistence farming, a vital source of livelihood for the war-affected villagers. They brought hundreds of one-month-old chickens for breeding, a step towards self-sustainability for these communities. Pastor Valentin believes that it will restart the villagers' farm life and provide a source of food for many. One of Pastor's immediate needs was fuel to make this trip happen. Because of partners like you, we were able to help him, and their outreach was accomplished successfully!
