Our first team of TenMen have returned to the United States, after a very successful time of ministry in Odessa, Ukraine and surrounding villages. I can't say enough how proud I am of these men and what they have accomplished in such a short amount of time. Make sure you watch the video!
In my recent time here in Ukraine (I am writing to you from the city of Lviv) I have not found any other project that can deliver the money and aid to the area of need as quickly as the TenMen project. The fastest way is to simply carry in what we can, and to purchase what is needed where and when it can be found, but perhaps even more important -- to put cash in the hands of pastors who are working day and night to help those devastated by these tragedies of war that are all around.
In ten days these TenMen were able to deliver $100,000 in humanitarian aid, which included the purchase of an 18 seat passenger van, delivering medical supplies to the front line, distributing aid and the gospel to so many people, and empowering Pastor Vitali Kozenchenko, an Armada member, to better operate in the work he and many other pastors have been doing since the start of the war.
Pastors I have known, some for 30 years, have been evacuating people trapped behind battle lines, rescuing orphans (One pastor and his wife have organized the evacuation of more than 9,000 children!) and so much more. Here’s how I see it. They are doing it. They need to be empowered. And we can get what they need into their hands fast.
When I saw the impact of the TenMen project it became clear in my spirit that we must send more: I see 50 teams of TenMen, which is 500 people delivering 5 million dollars of aid directly to where it needs to go. This is a challenging vision, but we are going to do it!
And so, I am asking for your help.
First, consider if the Lord would have you go! Or, talk to someone you know who may be interested in going. We need zealous people recruiting others to assist us! Email tenmen@armadanetwork.org or call us at (223) 255-1376 for more information or to begin the journey!
Second, sow a financial seed into the TenMen project to help us pay for many incidentals, from airline tickets, to lodging, fuel, meals, etc. There is alot going on behind the scenes to make this work. Or, perhaps you would like to sponsor an entire team yourself!
Third, share this email with your friends and family. Encourage them to subscribe to the website so we can send updates directly to their email address.
Finally, pray and continue to pray! I have purposely not discussed the horrors and tragedies that are taking place in this nation, but I'm sure you've seen enough on the media to understand me. This is a terrible time of darkness, war, death and destruction. What better time for the light of the Gospel to shine bright and clear!
